About

ShotSnip helps you capture any part of a webpage, mark it up, and share it quickly. Click the icon, drag to select an area, and you're ready to edit.

Use the pen, arrows, highlighter, text, and numbered step markers to explain bugs, document workflows, or create quick tutorials. Need to hide something? Blur passwords, emails, or any sensitive info before you share.

When you're done, copy the image to your clipboard, save it as a PNG, or print it. Everything runs in your browser. No account, no cloud upload, no tracking.

ShotSnip only asks for two permissions: access to the active tab when you click the icon, and the ability to show the capture overlay on the page. It does not read your browsing history or run in the background.
