SecureIntent warns you the moment you're about to paste an API key, token, password, or other secret into a website where it doesn't belong — such as AI chat and coding tools.

How it works
• Detection runs entirely on your device. Your pasted text is never sent anywhere.
• When a secret is detected, a warning appears with three choices: Cancel, Paste with key, or Paste anonymously (redacts the secret and pastes the rest).
• Only an anonymized, one-way fingerprint of a detected secret is sent for reporting — never the secret itself, and never your text.

What it detects
A wide range of credential types, including API keys and access tokens from major cloud and developer platforms, private keys, and other common secret patterns.

Where it works
Popular AI chat and coding assistants, plus other websites where you enter text. Detection happens wherever you paste.

Privacy first
Raw pasted text never leaves your device. The extension only computes a salted hash on-device for anonymous reporting. No accounts, no tracking, no selling of data.
