About

Read faster on every website with adhocq Bionic Reader.

Bionic Reading is a reading method that bolds the first letters of each word, creating visual anchor points that guide your eyes through the text. Your brain fills in the rest faster — letting you read up to 30% quicker with better focus and less fatigue.

3. Adjust the intensity to match your reading style
4. Enjoy faster, easier reading on any page

• Works on every website (news, blogs, articles, Wikipedia, documentation)
• Adjustable intensity (20%–80%) so you can dial in the amount of bolding
• Live preview before you commit
• Clean, minimal design that doesn't get in your way
• Available in English and Dutch (Nederlands)

— PRICING —
• 24-hour free trial when you sign in — no credit card required
• Monthly: €3.63/month
• Yearly: €42.35/year (save ~3%)

— PRIVACY & SECURITY —
We only collect the data necessary to operate your account:
• Your email address (for sign-in and billing)
• Your subscription status (so we know whether to enable the reader)

We do NOT collect, store, or transmit the content of the web pages you read. The Bionic transformation happens locally in your browser. We do not track your browsing, sell your data, or share it with advertisers.

Sign-in uses Google OAuth via Supabase. We comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

— WHY THESE PERMISSIONS? —
• "Read and change all your data on all websites" — required so the reader can transform text on any page you visit. The extension only modifies text appearance; it does not send page content anywhere.
• "Storage" — saves your on/off state and intensity preference locally.
• "Identity" — used only for the Google sign-in flow.
• "Alarms" — periodically refreshes your subscription status from our backend (once every 15 minutes).
