Changelog
- May 25, 2026description
Save a user-selected image from the current web page to the user's private Lighthunter reference library.
Lighthunter is a preproduction and on-set workspace for cinematographers, directors of photography, filmmakers, and small production teams. The Chrome extension helps you build a visual reference library while you browse. When you find a frame, still, moodboard image, lighting reference, location reference, or shot inspiration online, right-click the image and choose "Save image to Lighthunter." The selected image is copied into your private Lighthunter reference library so you can attach it to shots, scenes, and lighting plans later. Use it to collect: - Cinematography references - Lighting references - Moodboard images - Shot and scene inspiration - Location and production design references - Visual research for prep, scouts, and set days You must connect the extension from a signed-in Lighthunter tab once in the same Chrome profile. After that, the extension stores a private refresh credential and can save without keeping Lighthunter open. Saved images appear in the My Library tab inside the reference picker. Lighthunter does not save pages in the background. The extension only sends an image to Lighthunter after you explicitly choose the right-click save action.
