How It Works (Simple & Secure):
1. Quick Sign-Up: Click "Sign Up / Log In (Get Key)" in the extension popup. This will take you to our secure website where you can sign in with your Google account. We use Google Sign-In because it's easy, secure, and means one less password for you to remember!
2. Get Your API Key: After signing in, you'll receive a unique API key. This key is your personal access to the summarization service.
3. Save Your Key: Copy the API key and paste it once into the Chrome Extension popup and click "Save API Key." The extension will securely store it locally on your computer.
4. Summarize! Navigate to any YouTube video page. Click the "YouTube Video Summarizer" icon in your Chrome toolbar, then hit "Summarize Current Video."
5. Receive Your Summary: Our backend service will process the video, and you'll receive the high-quality summary directly to the email address associated with your Google account.
