About

AnthraCode React AI Selector helps developers connect what they see in the browser to the code they need to edit.
Press Alt+S, click any element in a React app, and the extension copies a concise AI-ready context summary to your clipboard. Paste that context into AnthraCode or another AI coding agent so it can understand the exact UI element you selected.
What it copies:
- Selected element text
- DOM tag, role, aria label, id, class, and DOM path
- React owner/component information when available
- Useful props and hook/state summaries when available
- Source file and line when React exposes debug source data
Why install it:
- Point your AI coding agent at the exact UI element you mean
- Avoid vague prompts like “change this button”
- Speed up frontend debugging and UI edits
- Works from Chrome DevTools or the global Alt+S shortcut
- Designed for compact, copy-paste friendly context
How to use:
1. Open any React app.
2. Press Alt+S.
3. Click the element you want to inspect.
4. Paste the copied context into AnthraCode or your AI coding agent.
Privacy:
AnthraCode React AI Selector processes selected element data locally in your browser. It does not send selected page content, React props, component details, or clipboard content to any remote server.
