Yahoo Lite lets you hide articles from publishers and categories you don't want to see. Blocked content disappears the moment it loads — including articles that appear as you scroll — and never comes back until you remove it from your blocklist.

Block by publisher

Right-click any article and select "Block articles from this publisher" to hide everything from that source. Never see articles from a specific news outlet again.

Block by category

Right-click any article and select "Block articles from this category" to hide all articles tagged with that topic — Sports, Celebrity, AI, Golf, and so on.

Manage your blocklists

Click the Yahoo Lite icon to open the popup. Add entries manually, remove them with one click, or clear your lists entirely. Changes take effect immediately — no page reload needed.

Works as you scroll

Yahoo loads more articles dynamically as you scroll. Yahoo Lite monitors the page in real time and removes blocked content as soon as it appears, so nothing slips through.

Syncs across devices

Your blocklists are stored in Chrome sync storage and follow you across every device signed into your Chrome profile.

Privacy-first

Yahoo Lite runs entirely in your browser. It reads no personal data, makes no network requests, and sends nothing to any server.
