About

VerseSync RSI Pledge Sync is the companion browser extension for VerseSync
(https://versesync.com) — a hangar, fleet, and mission tracker for Star
Citizen players and organizations.

## What it does

One click imports every ship you've pledged for on robertsspaceindustries.com
directly into your VerseSync personal hangar:

- Standalone ship pledges
- Game-package bundled ships
- Insurance tier (LTI / IAE / monthly)
- Pledge date and value
- Fuzzy-matched to the correct in-game ship template

## How it works

The extension reads the /account/pledges pages **using your own already-signed-in
RSI session** — nothing about your RSI credentials ever leaves your machine.
It then sends the parsed pledge data to your VerseSync account, authenticated
by a sync token you generate in VerseSync Settings and paste into this
extension's Options page.

## Privacy-first

- **No password access.** The extension cannot read your RSI password or
  session cookie. Your browser attaches the cookie automatically only to
  requests to robertsspaceindustries.com, by design.
- **No telemetry.** The only two network endpoints used are RSI
  (read pledges) and your chosen VerseSync host (upload parsed data).
- **No remote code.** All code ships inside the extension package; CWS
  remote-code-execution policy fully satisfied.
- **Token-hashed at rest.** Your VerseSync sync token is stored as a
  SHA-256 digest server-side; a database leak wouldn't hand out usable
  credentials.

## Re-sync behaviour

- New pledges → added as ships to your hangar.
- Updated pledges → only insurance / template link are refreshed. Your
  customisations (custom name, paint, notes, status, location) are
  preserved.
- Melted / removed pledges → left in place so you can decide what to do.
