NanoLingo Assistant is a side-panel AI helper for web pages that helps you read faster and write better.
It provides page summarization and language tools (translate, paraphrase, grammar correction, synonyms, dictionary) with a clean workflow: select text → run → get results.

Two helpers in one side panel
1) Summarizer Helper

Turn long pages into quick takeaways with configurable presets:

Presets: TL;DR, Key Points, Outline, Action Items, Pros & Cons

Length: Short / Medium / Long

Toggles: Force bullets, Numbers & Facts, Markdown

Summary perspective: General, Decision/Buy, Study, Work

Input options:

Load current page (pull text from the current tab)

Capture selection (summarize only what you highlighted)

Or paste text manually

2) Language Helper

Work with any highlighted text (or typed input) and choose what you want to do:

AI Trans – translate with on-device AI when available

API Trans – optional translation API fallback

Para – paraphrase to sound more natural (or more concise/formal)

Correct – fix grammar and awkward wording

Synonyms – quick alternatives for better word choice

Dictionary – short meaning and usage help

You can set:

Input Language: Auto or a specific language (English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, etc.)

Explanation Language: choose the language for explanations (English, Korean, etc.)

Fast triggers (hotkeys)

Run actions instantly using customizable triggers:

Alt + Drag / Ctrl + Drag

Alt + Double Click / Ctrl + Double Click
Assign each trigger to: AI Trans, API Trans, Para, Correct, Synonyms, or Dictionary.

A built-in checklist helps you confirm your environment (Chrome version/flags/model readiness) so the on-device AI features work as expected.

Privacy & data handling

The extension is designed to work with on-device AI when available.

API Trans is an optional mode; when you choose it, selected text may be sent to an external translation service to produce results.

Ideal for: reading articles, studying languages, drafting messages, and summarizing long web pages without losing key points.
