About

PII Blur lets you blur personal information on any website before recording your screen or sharing it.

Click any element — a name, profile photo, address, or input field — and it stays blurred on every future visit. Blur rules are saved per page and per domain, so nothing bleeds across pages accidentally.

HOW IT WORKS
• Click the 🔒 icon → "Select element to blur" → click anything on the page
• Text is matched by its exact content, images by their alt text — only that specific element is blurred
• Blurs are applied before the page renders, so there is no visible flash
• Works on dynamic content, infinite scroll, and single-page apps (React, Vue, Angular)

WHAT YOU CAN BLUR
• Profile photos and avatars
• Your name, username, or display name
• Address, phone number, email on account pages
• Login input fields
• Any text, image, or form field

PRIVACY
All settings are stored locally on your device. No data is collected, transmitted, or shared.
