YouTube Focus Lock helps you stay on track by giving you real control over what plays on YouTube — instead of relying on willpower alone.
Choose one of two simple modes:

Playlist Only — only videos from a playlist you choose (like Watch Later, or your own curated list) will play. Everything else is blocked, including channels, search results, and random videos you might click into.
Channels Only — everything plays normally, except the specific channels you've blocked. Perfect if you just want to cut out a handful of distracting channels without restricting everything else.

Key features:

Blocks channel pages directly — even if you type a blocked channel's URL straight into the address bar, it's redirected before the page loads.
Detects the channel on any video or livestream automatically, so blocked channels can't sneak through on a video link either.
A one-click "Block this channel" button right in the popup for whatever you're currently watching — no copying or pasting URLs.
Switch modes or update your lists anytime — changes apply instantly to any open YouTube tab, no refresh needed.

Your data stays yours: your playlist choice, blocked channels, and selected mode are all stored locally on your own device. Nothing is collected, tracked, or sent anywhere.
If you've ever opened YouTube for "just one video" and looked up 45 minutes later watching a channel you never meant to click on, this extension closes that gap — quietly, in the background, without getting in the way of the videos you actually meant to watch.
