WHAT IS TCT?

  Trading Confluence Tool (TCT) is a comprehensive trading validation and journaling
  system that overlays directly onto TradingView charts. It helps traders systematically
  evaluate trade setups using customizable confluence checklists, automatically assigns
  grades to trades based on confluence strength, and provides a complete analytics
  dashboard for tracking trading performance over time.


  THE CONFLUENCE CALCULATOR

  The core feature is a multi-timeframe confluence checklist that appears as an overlay on
   your TradingView charts. The calculator:

  • Automatically detects the current symbol you're viewing on TradingView
  • Lets you check off confluence criteria across multiple timeframes (15M, 30M, 1H, 4H,
  Daily, Weekly, etc.)
  • Tracks market sentiment (Bullish/Bearish) for each timeframe independently
  • Calculates a total confluence score based on which items you've checked
  • Automatically assigns a letter grade (A+, A, B+, B, C, D, F) based on your score
  • Supports two trading modes: Day Trading and Swing Trading, each with optimized
  timeframe sets
  • Remembers your checklist state for each symbol, so you can switch between symbols
  without losing your analysis
  • Includes a notes section for recording trade ideas and observations


  CUSTOM CONFLUENCE SETS

  Instead of a one-size-fits-all checklist, you can create and manage multiple confluence
  templates:

  • Browse pre-built templates for different strategies (Scalping, Day Trading, Swing
  Trading, Position Trading)
  • Clone any template as a starting point for customization
  • Create your own confluence sets with drag-and-drop item reordering
  • Four types of confluence items:
    - Sentiment Items: Track directional bias (Bullish/Bearish) across timeframes
    - Checkbox Items: Simple yes/no confirmations (e.g., "Volume spike", "RSI oversold")
    - Timeframe Buttons: Single-selection entry timeframe markers
    - Section Dividers: Organize your checklist visually
  • Switch between different confluence sets depending on your strategy
  • Each confluence set calculates grades differently based on its point structure

  TRADE JOURNALING SYSTEM

  When your confluence analysis is complete, you can journal the trade with one click:

  THE ANALYTICS DASHBOARD

  The dashboard provides five main views for analyzing your trading:

  OVERVIEW TAB
  • Total number of trades submitted across all symbols
  • Total unique symbols you've traded
  • Grade distribution chart showing how many A+, A, B+, B, C trades you've taken
  • Long vs Short ratio to see directional bias in your trading
  • Recent activity counter (trades in last 7 days)
  • Count of currently graded symbols

  SYMBOLS TAB
  • Lists every symbol you've assigned a grade to
  • Shows the current grade for each symbol (updated as you modify your confluence
  checklist)
  • Displays the last time you updated that symbol's analysis
  • Shows which confluence set you used for each symbol
  • Indicates your directional bias (Long/Short) for each symbol
  • Includes any notes you've attached to that symbol
  • Filter by grade, confluence set, or search by symbol name
  • Helps you track your watchlist and which setups look strongest

  TRADES TAB
  • Complete history of all trade entries you've journaled
  • View each trade's direction, grade, symbol, and timestamp
  • See all confluence items that were checked at the time of entry
  • Review entry, stop loss, and target prices
  • Access attached screenshots for each trade
  • Filter trades by direction (Long/Short/All)
  • Search for specific symbols
  • Sort by any column
  • Helps you review what setups you actually took and why

  CALENDAR TAB
  • Monthly calendar view of all your trading activity
  • Each day shows:
    - Number of trades taken that day
    - Total P&L for the day (calculated from entered trade data)
    - Win rate for that day
  • Click any day to see detailed trade list for that date
  • Navigate between months to review historical performance
  • Visual heatmap helps identify your most active trading periods
  • Track consistency and patterns in your trading schedule

  SETTINGS TAB
  • Configure risk management preferences:
    - Risk calculation mode (Fixed dollar amount or Percentage of account)
    - Account size
    - Default risk amount per trade
    - Risk percentage
  • These settings are used when journaling trades to calculate position sizes
  • Synced across devices via cloud


  SYMBOL MANAGEMENT

  • Track multiple symbols simultaneously (limits based on subscription tier)
  • Each symbol maintains its own confluence state independently
  • Switch between symbols without losing your analysis
  • Symbol limit protection prevents exceeding your tier's allowed symbols
  • Helpful dialogs guide you when you need to reduce tracked symbols
  • Free tier: 1 graded symbol at a time (you can switch, but only analyze one at a time)

  HOW IT ALL WORKS TOGETHER

  1. You open TradingView and load a chart for any symbol
  2. TCT automatically detects the symbol and loads your saved confluence state for it
  3. You analyze the chart and check off confluence items across multiple timeframes
  4. TCT calculates a grade showing you how strong this setup is
  5. If you decide to take the trade, you can journal it with one click—all your analysis
  is saved
  6. Later, you open the Dashboard to review:
     - Which symbols are showing the best grades right now (Symbols tab)
     - Your historical trade performance and patterns (Trades tab)
     - When you're most active and profitable (Calendar tab)
     - Overall statistics about your trading (Overview tab)
  7. Over time, you identify which confluence patterns lead to your best trades
  8. You can create custom confluence sets tailored to what actually works for your
