About

Let’s be honest — social media can get exhausting.

You open Twitter/X or YouTube just to relax, and suddenly your feed is full of topics you never asked for. Arguments. Noise. Repetitive content. Stuff you’d rather not see right now.

CleanFeed exists because I felt that frustration myself.
I wanted a simple, respectful way to clean up my feed without deleting apps or muting half the internet. So I built a solution.

CleanFeed helps you filter social media content based on words you choose, so your feed feels calmer, more relevant, and more yours again.

What CleanFeed Does (and why it’s different)

You choose the keywords. CleanFeed handles the rest.

When a post contains a word or phrase you’ve filtered:

It can be completely hidden, or softly blurred, so you stay in control

No accounts.
No tracking.
No algorithms deciding for you.

Everything happens locally in your browser.

And Works Where You Actually Spend Time

CleanFeed supports all major social platforms, with filtering tailored specifically for each site:

Twitter / X

Reddit

YouTube

Facebook

Instagram

You can:

Apply a keyword everywhere

Or limit it to one specific platform

See exactly where each keyword is active

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all blocker — each platform is handled differently to keep filtering accurate and reliable.

Designed to Feel Invisible (in a good way)

Social feeds never stop loading, so CleanFeed works in real time:

Scroll normally

New posts load

Unwanted content is filtered instantly

Your settings are saved locally, so:

They persist across browser restarts

They survive system reboots

They disappear instantly if you disable or uninstall the extension

If CleanFeed isn’t running or filtering, your feed behaves exactly as it always did.

Privacy Comes First. Always.

I built CleanFeed with a simple rule: your data stays yours.

No analytics

No external servers

No data collection

No login required

CleanFeed doesn’t modify your accounts or talk to social media servers. It simply cleans up what you see — nothing more.

Who CleanFeed Is For

People who want fewer distractions

People tired of repetitive or stressful topics

People who value privacy

People who want control without complexity

If you’ve ever thought “I just want my feed to feel better”, CleanFeed was built for you.

Start Small. Adjust Anytime.

Add one keyword.
Choose where it applies.
Hide it or blur it.

That’s it.

Your feed, your rules.

CleanFeed — because social media should serve you, not drain you.
