About
Quietbar helps keep private or sensitive domains from resurfacing in Chrome's address bar autocomplete. Add a domain such as foo.com and Quietbar automatically removes matching history entries after you visit that site. You can also scrub older matching history entries from the popup. Quietbar is intentionally narrow - Blocks domains and subdomains such as foo.com www.foo.com and app.foo.com. - Deletes only matching Chrome history URLs. - Does not delete cookies cache saved passwords bookmarks downloads or open tabs. - Does not track you call external APIs or send data anywhere. Important limitation Chrome extensions cannot directly filter Chrome's built-in address bar suggestions. Quietbar reduces suggestions by removing matching local history entries which are one of the main sources for autocomplete.
