About

Thanks to everyone using ThreadIT, and especially to those who left feedback and reviews (including Amine and Tài). This update includes major improvements based directly on your input:

• Better Markdown and HTML rendering for cleaner post/comment formatting

• Improved media support (images, galleries, and media links) in exports
• Inline media placement so content appears closer to where it’s discussed
• Smarter fallback behavior for tricky Reddit pages to improve export reliability
• Better typography and print layout with reduced spacing/pagination issues
• General quality fixes for Unicode/emoji handling and duplicate media cleanup

If there’s a feature you’d like added, please feel free to reach out. If it's also buggy, I'd be available to fix.

Your suggestions are shaping what ThreadIT becomes.

Enjoy!

_________
ThreadIT: Reddit to PDF, lets you save Reddit discussion threads as clean, readable PDFs with a single click.

If you’ve ever tried printing a Reddit page and ended up with cluttered navigation, ads, or broken layouts, ThreadIT solves that. It extracts the post and comments you’re viewing and generates a properly formatted PDF that’s easy to read, share, or archive.

How it works:
• Open a Reddit post
• Click the ThreadIT extension icon
• A clean PDF is generated and downloaded automatically

Why install ThreadIT:
• One-click export — no popups, no configuration
• Clean formatting focused on content, not page chrome
• Includes post title, author, votes, and comments
• Works on both modern Reddit and old.reddit.com
• No accounts, tracking, or sign-ups required

Permissions transparency:
ThreadIT uses Chrome’s built-in printing engine to generate PDFs without showing the print dialog. This happens only after you click the extension and only on the export page created by the extension.

Privacy:
ThreadIT processes content locally in your browser. Export data is stored temporarily during PDF generation and cleared immediately after download. No data is sent to external servers.
