About

Tabko is a modern Chrome session manager for people who work across many tabs and projects.

Save sessions, restore them later, and recover from recent local snapshots when Chrome closes unexpectedly. Tabko is built on Manifest V3 and uses a clean popup workflow from the toolbar.

- Save your current tabs as a session
- Restore entire sessions in a new window, or open individual tabs from a session

- Preserve tab-group metadata where Chrome exposes it (best effort)
- Search sessions by name, tag, tab title, or URL

- Copy all URLs from a session

Auto-save and recovery

- Optional save when the last Chrome window closes
- Optional interval saves: 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes
- Optional startup recovery save after unexpected closes (enable in settings)
- Configure ignored domains and cleanup behavior in settings

Privacy and security

- Local-first by default: session data stays in your browser unless you enable cloud backup
- Tabko uses tab URLs and titles for save/restore features; it does not read page contents
- No remote code execution; extension logic is packaged locally
- Premium billing is handled by Polar; payment card details are not stored by Tabko
- Incognito tabs are excluded from save and cloud sync

How it works

1) Install Tabko and open the toolbar popup.
2) Click Save Session (or use Ctrl+Shift+S / Cmd+Shift+S).
3) Restore anytime from the popup, with per-tab or full-session control.
4) Configure auto-save and Premium options from the settings page.
