About

Dynamic Website to PDF captures full web pages as PDF files by recording what the browser actually renders on screen.

Unlike traditional “print to PDF” or DOM-based converters, this extension does not try to reconstruct the page structure. Instead, it scrolls through the page, waits briefly for content to render, captures each visible section as an image, and then stitches those captures into a single PDF document.

Because it works from rendered screenshots rather than the raw page markup, it handles:

• Dynamic single-page applications
• Scroll-triggered animations
• Lazy-loaded content
• Client-side rendered pages
• Pages that change as you scroll

Many converters fail on modern websites because they attempt to export the static DOM or use print styles. This extension captures the page in its actual runtime state, after JavaScript has executed and content has appeared.

How it works:

1. When you click “Capture,” the extension injects a small script into the active tab.
2. It calculates the full scroll height of the page.
3. The page is scrolled step by step.
4. After a configurable delay at each step (to allow animations and lazy content to load), a screenshot of the visible viewport is taken.
5. All captured sections are stitched together and converted into a PDF locally inside your browser.
6. The final PDF is downloaded to your device.

Everything happens entirely on your machine. No page data, screenshots, or browsing information are sent to any server.

Key features:

• Works with dynamic and animated pages
• Configurable scroll delay for reliable rendering
• Adjustable image quality (including lossless mode)
• Fully local processing
• No analytics, tracking, or external services

Permissions are used strictly for capturing the active tab, injecting the capture script when requested, saving the PDF file, and storing your settings locally.

This extension is designed as a simple, practical tool for reliably exporting modern web pages that traditional converters struggle with.
