About
CatchTime Bridge connects your browser to the CatchTime desktop app, automatically tracking which websites you visit and how long you spend on each. How it works: - The extension detects your active tab in real time and sends the page URL and title to CatchTime desktop via a local WebSocket connection. - It only reports when the tab is visible — background tabs are not tracked. - All data stays local between your browser and the CatchTime desktop app. Nothing is sent to external servers by this extension. Requirements: - CatchTime desktop app (Windows / macOS) must be running for the extension to work. Features: - Automatic tracking — no manual input needed. - SPA support — detects page navigation in single-page apps. - Lightweight — minimal CPU and memory usage. - Privacy first — no data leaves your machine.
