  HOW IT WORKS
  
  1. Click the extension icon or press Alt+Shift+F
  2. Choose a preset size or enter custom dimensions
  3. A viewfinder overlay appears on the page
  4. Drag to position, nudge with arrow keys for precision
  5. Press Enter — file saves directly to Downloads
  
  CAPTURE PRESETS
  
  - Hero (1600 x 900) — 16:9 full-width hero images
  - Section (800 x 600) — 4:3 half-width column images
  - Custom — any width and height you need
  
  PRECISION CONTROLS
  
  - Drag the viewfinder to position it anywhere on the page
  - Arrow keys nudge 1 pixel at a time
  - Shift + Arrow keys nudge 10 pixels at a time
  - Tab cycles through presets without leaving the viewfinder
  - Rule-of-thirds grid, corner brackets, and center crosshair help with composition
  
  RETINA / HIDPI READY
  
  Set the resolution multiplier to match your display:
  - 1x for standard displays
  - 2x for Retina / HiDPI (recommended for Mac users)
  - 3x for ultra-high-density displays
  
  The viewfinder automatically scales so the output file is at your exact target dimensions regardless of your screen's pixel density.

  Most screenshot extensions ask for blanket access to "read and change all your data on all websites." FixedShot doesn't. We inject our viewfinder only when you explicitly activate it — never in the background, never on pages you haven't asked us to touch.
  
  Here's what FixedShot does NOT do:
  - No data collection of any kind
  - No browsing history access
  - No tracking, analytics, or telemetry
  - No account required, no signup, no login
  - No network requests — zero internet traffic
  - No background scripts watching your activity
  
  Everything happens locally on your machine. Your screenshots never leave your computer. The only permission we ask for is "Manage your downloads" — because we need to save the file to your Downloads folder. That's it.
