  AI Chat Conversation Navigator adds a compact sidebar to supported AI chat sites so you can quickly jump between your own messages in long conversations.
  
  Instead of manually scrolling through a long thread, open the navigator sidebar to see a numbered list of your prompts. Click any item to jump back to that point in the conversation.

  Privacy:
  This extension does not add analytics, tracking, ads, or remote code. Navigation indexes and preferences are stored locally in Chrome storage so the extension can restore sidebar entries and settings. The extension only runs on the supported AI chat sites listed in its permissions.
  
  What’s new in version 1.4.0:
  - Added support for ChatGPT Project chat URLs, so conversations under /g/.../c/... are indexed and navigated correctly.
  - Improved ChatGPT Project cache handling by using the canonical conversation ID, making cached navigation data more consistent across revisits.
  - Added active sidebar-item highlighting while scrolling, so it is easier to see which saved message is currently in view.
  - Added regression tests for ChatGPT Project URLs and scroll-based active item highlighting.
  
  No new permissions, host permissions, remote code, analytics, or data collection were added in version 1.4.0.
