2. Click the BlazeSEO icon in your Chrome toolbar

SECURITY & PERMISSIONS
BlazeSEO requests only essential permissions:
- Tabs: Create temporary tabs to analyze competitor pages
- Active Tab: Access the pages you explicitly choose to analyze
- Storage: Save your analysis history locally on your device

Your Privacy Matters
Your analysis data stays completely private by default. We don't collect, store, or transmit any personal information or the specific URLs you analyze.

Optional Analytics (Opt-In Only)
Blaze SEO includes an optional analytics toggle in Settings that is disabled by default. If you choose to enable it, we collect anonymized, aggregated usage data to help improve the tool:

What we collect (if you opt in):
- Feature usage patterns (which metrics are viewed most)
- Analysis completion rates
- Error frequencies and types
- Extension performance metrics

What we NEVER collect:
- Your analyzed URLs or competitor URLs
- Personal information or browsing history
- Page content or extracted SEO data
- Identifiable information about you or your clients

All analytics data is fully anonymized and aggregated. You can toggle analytics on or off at any time in Settings, and your choice is respected immediately. By default, analytics is OFF, and your usage remains completely private.
