About

Roots LinkedIn Sync is the browser bridge for importing your LinkedIn connections into Roots.

The extension does not have a separate export workflow. When you are signed in to Roots, the Roots app can ask the extension to fetch your own 1st-degree LinkedIn connections from your current browser session. The Roots app then syncs those connections to your authenticated Roots account in batches.

What it does:
- Fetches your own LinkedIn connections while you are signed in to LinkedIn.
- Sends connection batches back to the Roots app.
- Lets Roots build your private network graph from your LinkedIn relationships.

What it does not do:
- It does not store your Roots authentication token.
- It does not download CSV files.
- It does not run unless you start sync from the Roots app.

You need an active Roots account and an active LinkedIn browser session to use this extension.
