Text Cleaner — Case, Quotes & Line Breaks is a paste-in, paste-out tool for the text gremlins that show up every time you move copy between Word, PDF, email, a CMS, code, a spreadsheet, or an LLM chat: hard-wrapped line breaks in the wrong places, curly "smart" quotes that break code and search, and text stuck in the wrong case. Paste it in, toggle the fixes you need, copy clean text out.

Zero access to your browsing — no content scripts, no host permissions. It cannot read your open tabs or the page. Every byte of processing happens locally. The text you paste never leaves your browser. This extension collects no data of any kind — no analytics, no tracking, no telemetry. The only network traffic it ever makes is a purchase-verification check with ExtensionPay if you choose to upgrade.

• 10 case conversions: lower, UPPER, Title Case (minor-words- aware), Sentence case (preserves acronyms), camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE, dot.case.
• Line-break repair: remove all line breaks, join hard-wrapped paragraphs while keeping paragraph boundaries, lines to a comma-separated list and back.
• Smart-character straightening: curly quotes/apostrophes to straight, en/em dashes to hyphens, ellipsis to three dots, non-breaking/zero-width spaces normalized, ligatures expanded.
• Whitespace cleanup: trim line ends, collapse repeated spaces/ tabs, strip or remove blank-line runs, tabs to spaces.
• Live before/after preview with a stats line, so you see exactly how many line breaks were joined and characters trimmed.
• Copy or clear with one click; your settings and theme are remembered between sessions.
