AI Spell & Grammar Checker helps you improve writing directly inside editable text fields across the web.

When you type in supported text fields, the extension can show an AI Check button near the editor. Click it to check your text for spelling, grammar, style, and clarity suggestions. You can apply a single suggestion, review each issue, or use Apply All Suggestions to quickly update the text.

The extension also supports auto-check, so it can check focused editable text after a short delay while you type. You can adjust the auto-check delay from the popup or turn auto-check off anytime.

How to Use:

1. Install AI Spell & Grammar Checker.
2. Open any website with an editable text field.
3. Click inside an input box, textarea, email editor, or supported writing area.
4. Click the AI Check button, use Ctrl+Shift+G, or right-click and choose Check with AI.
5. Review the suggestions shown in the correction panel.
6. Click a suggestion to apply it, or use Apply All Suggestions.

Auto Check:

Auto Check can automatically review focused editable text after you stop typing for the selected delay. You can turn Auto Check on or off from the extension popup and adjust the delay based on your writing style.

Privacy Disclosure:

AI Spell & Grammar Checker sends the text you choose to check to the configured spell-check API so suggestions can be generated. If Auto Check is enabled, text in the focused editable field may be sent automatically after the selected delay while you type.

The extension stores only local settings such as Auto Check status and check delay using Chrome storage. Based on the current extension files, it does not use analytics scripts, does not track browsing history, and does not store your writing locally beyond the active checking process.
