About

ADO Column Effort Tracker adds an overlay panel to your Azure DevOps Sprint Taskboard that instantly totals Completed Work, Original Estimate, and Remaining Work hours for every card in the Closed/Done column.

✦ One-click calculation — Select a team member or view the whole team, then hit Calculate. The extension reads effort fields directly from the ADO REST API using your existing session, so there's nothing to configure.

✦ Per-member breakdown — See each person's completed hours, original estimates, and remaining work side by side in a compact summary table.

✦ Sprint capacity tracking — Automatically pulls sprint dates, team capacity, and days off from the ADO API to show whether each member (or the team) is ahead or behind the expected pace.

✦ Detailed task list — Expand the panel to see every work item with its ID, title, and effort chips (done / est / left).

✦ Export to CSV & PDF — Download a team-wide effort report as a CSV spreadsheet or a formatted PDF — no external service needed; everything is generated locally in the browser.

✦ Dark themed, draggable, resizable — The panel stays out of your way while you work. Drag it anywhere, resize it, or minimize it to the title bar.

How to use:

Navigate to any Azure DevOps Sprint Taskboard
Click the extension icon and press "Open Tracker Panel"
Select a team member (or "All team members")
Click "Calculate Closed Hours"
Privacy: This extension runs entirely in your browser. It does not collect, store, or transmit any user data. All ADO API calls are made directly from your browser to dev.azure.com using your existing authenticated session. No data ever leaves your browser or is sent to any third-party server.
