Sentra DLP is a managed browser extension that helps organizations prevent the accidental disclosure of sensitive data to external web applications.

Using Sentra's unique and proprietary Semantic Content Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technology, Sentra can block sensitive data from being shared even when the wording differs from the original content, as long as the meaning remains the same. In today's AI-driven world, where content is routinely rewritten and paraphrased by AI tools, traditional pattern-matching approaches are no longer sufficient to prevent data loss.

Using Sentra's Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) platform, organizations gain complete visibility into their data landscape. Sentra automatically discovers, classifies, and continuously monitors sensitive data across cloud environments, SaaS applications, databases, data lakes, and file storage systems. By understanding where sensitive data resides, who has access to it, and the context surrounding it, Sentra provides the intelligence required to enforce accurate, risk-based data protection policies.

Privacy and Security:
This extension does not send content to Sentra or any other third party for scanning or analysis.

Deployment:
This is a managed, enterprise-deployed extension intended to be installed through Chrome Enterprise policies (for example, ExtensionInstallForcelist) and configured by your IT or Security team. End users are not required to perform any setup; they will only see in-page notifications when a policy rule is triggered.
