About
**TimeHole** is a browser extension designed to help you break digital distractions and stay focused. Unlike traditional site blockers that simply show a "Blocked" page, TimeHole gently nudges you back to productivity by redirecting you to a site you've pre-approved. ### ✨ Key Features - **🚫 Intelligent Interception**: Use powerful wildcard patterns (e.g., `*.youtube.com*`) to block entire domains or specific sub-paths. - **🔀 Productive Redirection**: Randomly redirects you to a website from your whitelist (like GitHub, Wikipedia, or your personal blog) when you try to access a blacklisted site. - **📅 Focus Schedule**: Define specific time intervals during which the protection is active (e.g., 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM). - **🧠 Anti-Habitual Disabling**: Built-in "Challenge Mode" that requires you to type a randomly generated string to disable or pause protection, preventing impulsive disabling. - **🔄 Auto-Recovery**: If you manually disable protection, it can automatically re-enable itself after a set duration (e.g., 15 minutes). - **🌐 Multi-language Support**: Full support for English and Chinese (简体中文). - **🔒 Privacy-First**: No data collection. All settings and logic run locally in your browser. ### 🚀 Installation 1. Download the extension from the [Chrome Web Store](URL_COMING_SOON). 2. Click the **TimeHole** icon in your toolbar to open the popup. 3. Go to **Configuration** to set your Blacklist and Whitelist. ### 🛠 Configuration - **Blacklist**: Add URLs you want to avoid. You can use `*` as a wildcard. - **Whitelist**: Add URLs of productive sites you want to be redirected to. - **Schedule**: Enable "Schedule" and set your start and end times to automate your focus sessions.
