About
DeckDuck replaces the default new tab page with a fast, clean, local-first workspace for the links you use every day. It is built for people who want a polished speed dial without clutter, tracking, or hidden background behavior. You can organize bookmarks into groups across the top, launch them from large visual cards, search everything instantly, and keep your setup feeling calm, quick, and easy to scan. DeckDuck includes a custom new tab experience with large bookmark cards, thumbnails, favicons, notes, and tags. It supports fast top-level groups with drag-and-drop organization, search across bookmarks, groups, notes, and tags, and a command palette for quick launch and navigation. You can import existing browser bookmarks, export and restore backups, and customize the look of the page with theme, wallpaper, card, and layout controls. Focus mode is available when you want a quieter workspace with less interface noise. DeckDuck is designed for daily use. The experience emphasizes quick launch, clean spacing, smooth group switching, strong keyboard support, and attractive fallback cards when thumbnails are missing. It is local-first by default, so your personal workspace stays in browser extension storage unless you explicitly choose to export a backup or enable an optional sync feature. For people who want cloud backup, DeckDuck includes optional OneDrive personal sync in preview. This sync is manual and explicit, with no hidden background syncing. For organizational use, DeckDuck can also support optional managed company content from an approved internal source, while keeping that managed content separate from your personal deck. Privacy and security are core parts of the product. DeckDuck does not include analytics, telemetry, tracking pixels, or third-party scripts. It only performs outbound network activity when needed for the product to work, such as opening sites you click, importing a user-requested thumbnail or preview, fetching optional managed company content from an approved source, running optional Microsoft sign-in and manual OneDrive sync actions, or using the browser’s native favicon behaviour. DeckDuck is built to feel personal-use friendly while remaining suitable for enterprise-safe deployment.
