About

Browser Storage Inspector opens in Chrome’s side panel and shows what the current site stores in your browser: cookies, localStorage, and sessionStorage. Use it while you browse—no need to dig through DevTools for every key.

See everything in one place
Run an audit on the active tab and browse cookies (with flags like Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite), local storage keys, and session storage keys in clear tables. Search and filter to find what you need quickly.

Watch storage change over time
The extension refreshes automatically and logs activity as items are added, removed, or updated. Value changes show before/after diffs so you can spot auth tokens, feature flags, or SDK state changing as you use the app. Removed keys stay visible (marked deleted) so you can verify logout and cleanup behavior.

Stay focused on what matters
Mute noisy subjects to hide them from the activity stream, or use solo mode to show only one cookie or storage key. Muted subjects persist across sessions.

Crawl same-origin pages
Follow links on the same site to sample storage on other pages—useful for marketing vs app vs help sections. The crawler navigates your active tab and restores your starting URL when finished.

Export for tickets and reviews
Download JSON (full snapshot with activity history) or CSV (tabular data including crawl results) for bug reports, QA, privacy reviews, or documentation.

Who it’s for
Developers and QA debugging client state, privacy and compliance reviewers mapping site behavior, security testers checking persistence, and anyone who needs a clear picture of what a website stores locally.

Open the toolbar icon to launch the side panel. Audits run on the tab you’re viewing; all inspection happens locally in your browser.
