About

Single Purpose Description
Adron Auto Scroll automatically scrolls and likes posts on any website including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter, with configurable delay intervals between scrolls.

activeTab Justification
activeTab is required to identify the currently active browser tab so the extension can target the correct tab for scroll and like automation. Without this permission, the extension cannot determine which tab the user wants to control.

debugger Justification
The debugger permission is required to use the Chrome DevTools Protocol to simulate hardware-level scroll gestures via Input.synthesizeScrollGesture and keyboard input via Input.dispatchKeyEvent. This is necessary because JavaScript-based scroll methods are blocked by platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. No user data is accessed or collected through this API.

scripting Justification
The scripting permission is required to inject a function into the active tab that detects and clicks the like button on the currently visible post. This function runs locally in the page context to identify platform-specific like button elements. No data is extracted, stored, or transmitted.

tabs Justification
The tabs permission is required to retrieve the URL and metadata of the active tab so the extension can identify which platform is open and apply the correct scrolling and like-detection strategy. Tab data is used only locally within the extension and is never stored or transmitted externally.

storage Justification
The storage permission is used to persist user preferences such as scroll delay, scroll mode (fixed or random), auto-like toggle state, and like chance percentage across browser sessions. All data is stored locally on the user's device and is never transmitted to any external server.

host_permissions (<all_urls>) Justification
Host permission for all URLs is required because the extension is designed to work on any website, not just a predefined list. Users may want to auto-scroll blogs, news sites, social media platforms, or any other web page. Restricting to specific domains would prevent the extension from fulfilling its core purpose of universal scroll automation.

Remote Code Justification
(Only fill this if the Store flags it — your extension does NOT use remote code, so select "No" on the remote code question. If forced to explain:)
This extension does not execute any remote code. All JavaScript is bundled locally within the extension package. No scripts are fetched from external URLs at runtime. The extension only uses locally defined functions injected via chrome.scripting.executeScript.
