  Gurwi Vocabulary is a Chrome extension for language learners that lets you save words and phrases directly from any webpage you're reading.
  
  How it works:
  • Select any word or phrase on a webpage
  • Right-click and choose "Save to Gurwi Vocabulary"
  • AI automatically generates the translation, meaning, and example sentences
  • The surrounding paragraph is saved as context so you remember where you found it

  You need a Gurwi account to use this extension. Sign in with email, Google, or Apple — the same account you use in the Gurwi app.
  
  Gurwi is an educational platform for visual and interactive learning. This extension extends the Language Center feature, letting you build your vocabulary while browsing the web.

  Gurwi Vocabulary turns any webpage into a vocabulary lesson. Reading an article, a recipe, a long thread? Select a word you don't know and learn it on the spot — without ever leaving the page.
  
  Two ways to use it
  
  See its meaning and pronunciation — Select a word or phrase, right-click, and choose "Meaning & pronunciation." A small card appears right where you're reading, with:
  • the part of speech (noun, verb, adjective…)
  • a clear meaning and the translation into your language
  • example sentences in context
  • a speaker button to hear exactly how it's pronounced
  Drag the card wherever you like; close it with Esc or a click outside.
  
  Save it to your vocabulary — Right-click and choose "Save to Gurwi," or hit Save in the card. AI generates the translation, meaning, and examples, and keeps the surrounding paragraph as context so you remember where you found it.
  
  Inside the extension
  • Browse your saved vocabulary, organized by language
  • Listen to the pronunciation of any saved word
  • Add words manually with your own translation
  • Delete words you no longer need
  
  Smart by design
  • Every word is saved under the language it actually belongs to — detected from the text, not from a setting. Save an English word while you're studying Japanese and it lands in your English list, where it belongs.
  • Learn and save words in any of Gurwi's 47 languages — Arabic, Chinese, English, Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and many more.
  • The whole interface follows your browser's language.
  • Everything syncs with the Gurwi mobile app.
