About

TabTracker · Mind Tree

Turn scattered tabs into a growing mind tree.

TabTracker is a Chrome extension built for people whose minds wander and who end up with dozens of open tabs — especially folks with ADHD. Instead of a flat, overwhelming tab bar, it quietly records your browsing as a tree, so you can always see how one page led to the next and retrace your train of thought.

What it does

· Branch tracking — automatically distinguishes three kinds of navigation:
·Direct branch — opening a link in a new tab (solid indigo line)
·Indirect branch — clicking a link within the same tab (solid gray line)
·Manual search — a URL you typed or searched yourself, a new idea with no link (green dashed line)
· Time & visit stats — first-open time, how many times you switched to a page, and total foreground time spent on it.
· Rabbit-hole reminder — when a thread gets too deep, a badge and an optional notification nudge you to surface back up.
· One-click stash — pack up and close all current tabs (keeping the tree structure), then restore them anytime.
· Node-and-line tree view — with page thumbnails and titles, available in both a side panel and a full analysis dashboard.
· Bilingual — English / Chinese, switchable in settings.
· Privacy-first — everything stays on your device. No servers, no tracking, no uploads. Thumbnails are off by default and require your explicit permission.

Why it helps

ADHD-style browsing branches fast and loses its thread. TabTracker makes that branching visible, gently warns you before you spiral into a rabbit hole, and lets you clear your screen without losing your context.
