DEAD SIMPLE DARK MODE

About

turn any bright website dark.

what it does:
- one switch flips the current site to a dark theme
- your choice is remembered per site, so a site stays the way you left it
- optional default for all sites, so the whole web opens dark
- a strength slider if full invert is too much
- images, video, and photos are kept looking normal, not inverted into negatives

how it works:
click the toolbar icon and flip the switch for the site you are on. it applies a smart inversion that darkens backgrounds and text while leaving media alone. toggle it back off any time. nothing about the page is changed permanently.

permissions:
- host access: apply the dark theme on the pages you turn it on for
- storage: remember which sites you set to dark and your strength setting
