  How to Use TruthLens
  
  1. Install & Authenticate
  
  • Add TruthLens to Chrome and pin it to your toolbar for easy access.
  • Before your first scan, ensure you have an active account. Log in through the TruthLens Web Community Platform to securely sync your session.
  
  2. Select Your Tool
  
  • Click the TruthLens icon in your toolbar while browsing any social media feed or article.
  • To verify an image: Click the "Snip" button, drag your cursor over the specific image or infographic, and let the system extract and analyze the text.
  • To verify an article/post: Click the "Analyze URL" tab and input the link to generate a comprehensive credibility assessment.
  
  3. Review the Verdict
  
  • Wait a few seconds for our asynchronous AI pipeline to process the claim.
  • A result card will automatically appear on your screen displaying the final verdict, a brief explanation of the AI's reasoning, and links to verified sources.
  
  4. Contribute to the Community
  
  • Access your detailed dashboard via the Web Community Platform to track your Trust Score, view official fact-checks from moderators, and vote on pending community evidence.
  
  Privacy First: TruthLens respects your digital privacy. The extension does not monitor your background browsing history or private messages. It only processes the specific URLs and image snippets that you actively choose to scan.
