DevGrove — Offline Developer Toolbox

About

DevGrove is a developer multi-tool that lives in Chrome's side panel — and it runs 100% on your device. No account, no network, no remote code, and (this is the point) NO permission to read or change your data on websites. The only permissions it requests are "storage" and "sidePanel".

One private side panel, ~18 everyday tools:

FORMAT
• JSON — beautify, minify, sort keys, validate (with line/column errors)
• JSON ↔ YAML — convert config files both ways

ENCODE / DECODE
• Base64 — UTF-8 safe, standard and URL-safe
• URL — encode/decode + parse query strings into key/value pairs
• HTML entities — escape and unescape
• JWT — decode header, payload and expiry (decoded locally; no secret, never verified online)

GENERATE
• UUID v4 — single or in bulk
• Hash — MD5 + SHA-1 / SHA-256 / SHA-384 / SHA-512 (Web Crypto), live as you type
• Random token — strong CSPRNG strings (hex, base64url, alphanumeric…)
• Lorem ipsum — words, sentences, paragraphs

CONVERT
• Unix time ↔ date — ISO, UTC, local and relative
• Number base — binary, octal, decimal, hex
• Colour — HEX ↔ RGB ↔ HSL with a live preview
• Case — camelCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE and more

TEXT
• Diff — compare two texts line by line
• Regex tester — live matches, capture groups and flags
• Cron parser — plain-English explanation + the next run times
• Text toolkit — count, sort, dedupe, reverse and trim lines
