About
EaseAccess24 DevTools brings accessibility inspection directly into Chrome DevTools. Run axe-core WCAG audits, map page structure, inspect any element, evaluate colour contrast, review image alt text, and simulate vision conditions — all without leaving the browser tab you are testing. What it does: - Run axe-core accessibility audits against WCAG 2.1 A and AA — violations are shown with severity, affected element, and a direct link to WCAG documentation - Map page structure: landmarks, heading hierarchy, ARIA roles, and nesting errors at a glance - Pick any element on the page and see its computed styles, ARIA attributes, and role in the accessibility tree - Inventory every image on the page with its alt text status — flag missing or empty alt text immediately - Interactive contrast assistant: pick foreground and background colours, see the ratio, and get WCAG-compliant suggestions - Apply vision simulations to the live page: grayscale, blur, invert, high contrast, and more - Save scan snapshots to History and compare results across sessions - Export full JSON reports for your test documentation How it works: All analysis runs locally in your browser. EaseAccess24 DevTools does not upload pages, scan results, or any other data to a server. Scan history (up to 10 entries) is stored in your browser's local storage and stays on your device. Permissions: The extension requires broad host permissions because it is a DevTools panel — the content script must be registered before you open DevTools. The content script is completely idle until you interact with the panel. This is the same architecture used by WAVE, axe DevTools, ARC Toolkit, and other accessibility extensions in the Chrome Web Store. What's free vs. the EaseAccess24 platform: All inspection features are free and run entirely in your browser. The "Fix with AI on EaseAccess24" links open the EaseAccess24 web platform in a new tab — that platform offers AI-assisted remediation and is a separate product. Clicking those links is entirely optional. Homepage: https://easeaccess24.com Privacy policy: https://www.easeaccess24.com/privacy-policy/ Support: https://www.easeaccess24.com/contact-us/
