Pixel Helper for OpenAI Ads is a third-party debugging tool for advertisers and developers who have installed OpenAI's Ads measurement pixel (oaiq) on their website. It inspects pixel events as they fire and surfaces common implementation mistakes before they cost you attribution. ⚠️ This extension is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI. "OpenAI" is a trademark of OpenAI Inc. used here only to describe what the extension works with. WHAT IT DOES - Detects OpenAI Ads pixel events fired on any page you visit - Shows the pixel ID, event name, parameters, transport (fetch/beacon/image), and the oppref click identifier - Validates each event against OpenAI's documented schema: - Standard event names (page_viewed, order_created, etc.) - Required data.type for each event (e.g. order_created → contents) - amount must be an integer in lowest denomination, currency required - contents[] items only allow documented fields - Custom events: custom_event_name format and uniqueness - Warns when you accidentally call the server-only Conversions API from browser code (which would expose your secret API key) - Updates a badge counter on the toolbar showing events fired on the current page HOW TO USE 1. Install the extension 2. Visit a website that has the oaiq pixel installed 3. Click the toolbar icon to see events, parameters, and any warnings/errors PRIVACY This extension collects nothing. No analytics, no telemetry, no remote code, no backend server. All inspection is local to your browser and discarded when you close the tab.
