About

MyTE Autofill Helper is a powerful automation tool that helps you complete Accenture MyTE timesheets faster by automating the repetitive parts of timesheet entry directly inside the MyTE page.

If you regularly enter the same daily hours, reuse the same WBS codes, or follow a recurring Homeworking / Office schedule, this extension reduces the manual work required to fill your timesheet while keeping you in control of the final review.

All logic runs locally in your browser. The extension does not send your data to external servers and does not rely on any remote service.

Important: This is an independent helper tool. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Accenture or the official MyTE product team.

Why use MyTE Autofill Helper?

Filling MyTE is often repetitive. Every cycle, you may need to:

- enter the same daily hours repeatedly
- split time across multiple WBS codes
- search through long WBS lists
- apply the same weekly Homeworking / Office pattern
- check required rest and compliance boxes
- avoid small manual mistakes before submission

MyTE Autofill Helper is designed to streamline that process. You configure your setup once, then reuse it whenever you need to complete your timesheet.

What the extension does

1. Multi-WBS autofill with weighted hour distribution
You can add multiple WBS codes and assign each one a weight. The extension uses those weights to distribute your configured daily hours across your selected WBS entries and fill the MyTE grid accordingly. It also helps keep totals aligned with your configured daily hours by handling rounding consistently.

2. Automatic loading of active WBS from MyTE
The extension can open the MyTE WBS selection popup, scroll through the list, and extract valid active WBS entries directly from the page. Inactive or closed WBS entries are ignored. Once loaded, they are available in the extension’s searchable in-page WBS picker for faster selection.

3. Weekly Homeworking / Office pattern automation
You can define a weekly work location pattern for each weekday and apply it across the timesheet automatically. Supported options include:

- Homeworking
- Office / Client
-None

This is useful if your work location pattern is usually the same from one week to the next.

4. Optional automatic rest checkbox handling
The extension can automatically check daily and weekly rest compliance boxes on valid working days. Weekends and non-applicable cells are ignored.

5. User-simulated interaction for MyTE compatibility
The extension interacts with the MyTE interface using browser events such as clicks, typing, input changes, and checkbox interactions so that the page reacts as if a real user performed the actions. This approach is intended to work with the existing MyTE interface without modifying its backend behavior.

6. Compact in-page control panel
A side panel opens directly inside the MyTE page when you click the browser toolbar icon. From there, you can:

- load WBS codes
- set daily hours
- manage WBS allocations and weights
- configure the weekly work location pattern
- enable or disable automatic rest handling
- launch the autofill process

The panel includes Corporate and Dev visual themes and is designed to stay compact while remaining easy to use.
