  Halo brings your writing assistant into the browser.
  
  Select text on any web page and a small Halo button appears. Click it to open Halo on that text, where you can rewrite, improve, fix grammar, change tone, summarize, make it shorter or longer, or generate something new from a prompt. Then drop the result right back in place.
  
  Halo works together with the Halo app for Mac. Turn on the browser connection in Halo's Settings, and this extension hands your selection to the app running on your own computer. Your selection goes only to Halo on your machine (127.0.0.1), never to a third-party server.
  
  What you can do:
  • Rewrite and improve anything you've written
  • Fix grammar and spelling
  • Change the tone (professional, friendly, confident, and more)
  • Summarize long text
  • Make it shorter or longer
  • Generate a draft from a prompt
  
  Halo also works system-wide on your Mac: select text in any app and double-tap Option. This extension brings the same thing into your browser, where you do a lot of your writing, email, posts, and any text field on the web.
