Perch turns your X (Twitter) bookmarks and home feed into a private, searchable, AI-powered library, all on your own device.

Your bookmarks pile up and disappear. Perch saves them into a local archive you actually own, then makes them findable, organised, and useful.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Save & keep
• One click saves your X bookmarks and your Home feed (For You / Following) into a private local library.
• It persists across sessions and only fetches what's new on the next sync.
• Optional auto-sync keeps your library fresh in the background while you browse x.com.

Find anything
• Full-text search with operators: "exact phrase", from:username, #topic, has:video, has:link, -exclude.
• Filter by author, content type, date saved, verified, and topic. Sort by recently saved, newest posted, likes, bookmarks, or views.
• Automatic topic labels on every post, editable by hand so you are always in control.
• Dock Perch to the side and keep browsing X while you read your library.

Understand it with AI (optional, bring your own key)
• Ask your library: chat with your saved posts and get answers with citations.
• Digest: the big picture across everything, with themes, key insights, notable voices, and must-reads.
• Research report: a structured, cited briefing on any topic you name.
• Extract resources: pull every tool, repo, and link into a categorized, copyable list.
• Smart-tag with AI for sharper, personalised organization.
• Bring your own key (Anthropic, OpenAI, or OpenRouter), or run AI 100% offline with a local model (Ollama, LM Studio). Your data never leaves your machine.

Export & manage
• Export to CSV, Excel, JSON, HTML, or Markdown, all shown or a top-N slice.
• Download post media as a ZIP.
• Bulk remove bookmarks (with Undo).

• AI features are optional and use your own API key. Requests go straight from your browser to the provider you chose, never through us.
