About

Focus Vault is built on a different philosophy than every other focus tool.
Most focus blockers build walls, blocking Reddit, hiding Twitter, blacklisting YouTube. Focus Vault builds a room. Before your session starts, you choose exactly which tabs you'll work within. For the duration of your session, those are the only tabs available. Everything else is simply outside your boundary.

How it works:

1) Select the tabs you need from your open browser tabs. These become your workspace.
2) Set your session duration (15, 25, 45, 60, or 90 minutes).
Start. The extension locks your browser to your approved tabs and closes everything else.
3) A minimal floating timer appears in the corner of each tab, showing time elapsed and remaining.
4) Try to open a new tab or navigate away, and you are instantly redirected back.
Want to exit early? Hit the Willpower Wall. Type 100 unique words before you can unlock. Enough friction to stop an impulse, but not a cage.

What Focus Vault doesn't do:

1) No accounts or sign-in required.
2) No data sent to any server. Everything stays in your browser's local storage.
3) No permanent blocking. Every session has a clear end.

Built for students doing self-directed study, writers working without deadlines, and anyone who needs to enter deep work mode without an external enforcer. If you've ever opened a task, gotten distracted, and lost the hour, this is for you.
Build a room, not a wall.
