Detailed Description：When searching literature, titles and abstracts are often not visual enough. Sometimes, one figure can explain the study much faster than text.

PubMed Figure Preview displays article figure thumbnails directly below PubMed search results, mainly from open-access / PubMed Central (PMC) articles. You can browse figures on the search results page, click thumbnails to view a larger preview, and open the original article page to quickly decide whether a paper is worth reading in full.

Privacy：This extension runs locally and does not collect personal data. It contains no ads and no tracking. It only uses publicly visible PMID/DOI information from the current PubMed page to request public NCBI / PubMed / PMC pages or APIs in order to display available article figures.

Note：Figure previews are mainly available for open-access articles or articles indexed in PMC. Paywalled articles, newly published articles not yet available in PMC, or articles without publicly available figures may not show thumbnails.
