About

Formax Browser Agent connects Chrome to a local AI agent running on the user's machine.

The extension allows the local agent to control browser tabs through Chrome native messaging. It can open and select tabs, inspect page state, inject content scripts when needed, perform browser actions such as clicking, typing, scrolling, waiting for page loads, taking screenshots, and using Chrome DevTools Protocol for advanced page inspection.

The extension is intended for users who explicitly install and configure a local agent workflow. It does not provide remote browsing automation as a cloud service. Browser data is used only to perform user-requested local automation tasks and to return results to the local agent.
