About
Bluetab is a minimal, MV3-compatible command-line tab manager for Chromium-based browsers. It is a re-implementation of a subset of the old brotab extension., and it provides a small brotab-like CLI focused on the core tab workflows: listing tabs, finding tabs, activating tabs, closing tabs, opening URLs, and inspecting active tabs/windows. Bluetab is intentionally small. It does not index page contents, scrape pages, or provide full browser automation. Instead, it focuses on fast, scriptable tab management through a native messaging bridge. Supported CLI commands include: • bt clients • bt windows • bt list • bt active • bt query • bt activate • bt close • bt open Bluetab is designed for users who rely on shell scripts, terminal workflows, launchers, and automation around browser tabs.
