About
QueryLens is a Chrome extension built for SEOs, content strategists, publishers, and marketers who want to understand how well any webpage actually aligns with a target topic. Not just by keyword density, but by true semantic relevance. Using OpenAI embeddings alongside advanced lexical analysis, QueryLens evaluates page content against your chosen primary and secondary keywords to measure both topical depth and keyword relevance. In simple terms, it helps you see whether a page genuinely covers a topic well, where it’s strong, where it’s weak, and where content opportunities or mismatches exist. What QueryLens does: • Analyzes any live webpage on demand • Compares page content against your target keyword set • Measures semantic relevance (topic meaning) + lexical relevance (keyword usage) • Highlights strong and weak sections directly on the page • Provides section-by-section insights for content optimization, SEO audits, competitor analysis, and content strategy Why it matters: Traditional SEO tools often focus heavily on backlinks, rankings, or keyword counts. QueryLens helps bridge the gap between search intent and on-page content quality, making it especially useful for content audits, optimization, topical authority building, and identifying semantic gaps. Privacy & API Key Security: QueryLens requires your personal OpenAI API key to generate embeddings for analysis. Your API key is stored locally in your browser using Chrome’s secure storage and is not shared, or centrally collected. Requests are sent directly from your browser to OpenAI’s API for processing. This means you remain in control of your own API usage and billing. NB: The content of any page analyzed with the QueryLens extension is sent to the OpenAI servers for the purposes of generating an embedding that can be compared to your target topic.
