About
Driftless asks a simple question when you open a new tab: what is this for? Your answer stays with the tab as a subtle, unobtrusive reminder on the page, helping you stay oriented without interrupting your flow. When you're done, you can mark it complete, or note that you drifted. No pressure, no scolding. Small moments of lost focus add up. Each unintentional tab switch raises the cognitive load and makes it harder to return to what you were doing. Driftless helps close that loop by gently bringing your attention back to your original purpose. It isn't about never drifting. You will, everyone does. The practice is noticing, and coming back. Over time, the question starts to ask itself. Once a week, Driftless reflects your intentions back to you in a few calm lines. No scores, no streaks, nothing to fail. Everything stays on your device. No account, no sign-up, no tracking, and nothing ever leaves your browser.
