About

Keyword Article Blocker hides individual news cards and articles when they match keyword rules you control. It was built for people who want to reduce repetitive topics, public figures, conflicts, companies, or other recurring coverage without blocking an entire website.

Generic keyword blockers often miss modern article-card layouts, or they hide too much. Keyword Article Blocker focuses on the article/card level: when a match is found inside a reasonable news container, the extension replaces that item with a small "Article hidden" placeholder and a Show button. The page stays usable, and you can reveal a hidden article when needed.

Features
- Hide individual articles and cards by keyword
- Use built-in preset rules for common high-volume topics
- Add, edit, enable, disable, or delete your own rules
- Reveal a hidden article with Show
- Keep the rest of the page layout intact where possible
- Manage rules from a clean options page
- Store preferences locally with Chrome storage
- Lightweight Manifest V3 extension
- No account required

Privacy
Keyword Article Blocker does not collect, sell, or share personal data.
It does not send your browsing history, page content, keywords, or rule settings to external servers.
Rules and preferences are stored locally using Chrome storage.

Notes
This extension focuses on article and card blocking. It does not block ads, cookie banners, feedback widgets, newsletter popups, checkout flows, search engines, page content outside article containers, or full chat applications.

Websites change frequently, and some custom page layouts may not be detected perfectly. If a site does not behave as expected, you can disable or adjust rules.
