Lucidify is a Chrome extension that makes dialogue and music clearer on streaming sites—YouTube, Prime Video, and any page with a standard HTML5 <video> player. Audio is processed in real time inside your browser using Web Audio DSP. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.

🛠️ How it works

1. Open a streaming page and start playback.
2. Click the Lucidify icon → toggle ON.
3. Pick a Movie or Music preset—or fine-tune with Advanced EQ and gain (0.5×–3.0×).
4. Settings persist across sessions in Chrome local storage.

🔒 Privacy & permissions

• Audio stays on your device — processed locally; we do not record or upload streaming content.
• License checks use Polar’s public Customer Portal API (license key + device ID only).
• Broad site access lets Lucidify attach to <video> elements on the sites you visit. DRM-protected players (e.g. Netflix) are not supported.

⚠️ Limitations

• Works with non-DRM HTML5 video (YouTube and many streaming sites).
• Netflix and similar DRM streams cannot be processed due to browser security.
• If the visualizer does not appear, reload the page (F5) and try again.
