This extensions removes the AI Overview at the top of Google searches, and completely hides the panel from view. Search Google like before, without AI overviews blocking the top of the page.

NOTE: Unfortunately, as a result of Chrome's design, this tool may not prevent the hidden generation of AI overviews by Google servers. While no AI overviews will be shown, Google's servers may or may not still be generating them during searches. This prevention of generation is something that will, ideally, be implemented future versions of this extension, but the design of Google's search engine makes this difficult.
