Tab Commander is a keyboard-first command palette for Chrome. Press Alt(Cmd)+Shift+K to fuzzy-search every open tab and run common browser actions - no mouse required. FEATURES • Search and switch tabs across all windows • Find tabs playing audio • Rename tabs and save auto-rename rules per URL • Pin, duplicate, close, move, or group the current tab • Favicon labels - tag sites with a colored badge • Light and dark themes • Optional GitHub Gist sync for your rules PRIVACY 100% local. No analytics, no tracking. The only network request is the optional GitHub Gist sync that you authorize yourself.

Open the palette with your shortcut, search what you need, and act without reaching for the mouse. KEY FEATURES • Search and switch tabs across all Chrome windows Quickly find any open tab by title or URL, then jump to it instantly. • Find tabs playing audio See which tabs are currently making sound and switch to them fast. • Manage the current tab Pin, duplicate, close, copy URL, reopen recently closed tabs, or move between nearby tabs. • Tab groups Add the current tab to a new or existing group, choose group colors, remove tabs from groups, or delete groups. • Rename tabs Give tabs custom names so messy pages become easier to recognize. • Auto-rename rules Save rename rules per URL so matching pages can be renamed automatically in the future. • Favicon labels Add small colored labels to site favicons, useful for marking environments like dev, staging, prod, admin, or test. • Bookmarks Search bookmarks directly from the palette, open saved pages, and manage bookmark import/export. • Tools Generate QR codes from the current page URL or custom text. • Themes Switch between light and dark themes. • Optional GitHub Gist sync Sync your rename rules and settings through your own GitHub Gist when you choose to connect it.
